Exam's over!!!

I don't know if you read my previous post but if you have, you would know that I had exams around then. The good news is... I'M DONE WITH THEM!!!!!! What is a better way to celebrate than to SHOP right?? I got a few things and one thing that I really can't wait to share is this bag I got from Mong Kok. Well if you know me then you would know that I love pink and girls things but I won't really wear it or carry pink bags much (it is cos I always change clothing item so I rather have link accessories which I can use daily), this bag is a but out of my comfort range in using but I have to say I am so proud that I had the courage to get it cos it is SO CUTE!! This is a photo of it:

Isn't this so adorable?? I knew you would agree :D

Anyway, this is it for now, gonna be having a fab day tomorrow and take a lot of pictures. It might just be my first time posting about something that IS NOT shopping relate :D

For all of the pretty people out there, STAY CUTE!!!

LONG TIME NO SEE

It has been a very long while that I have posted any blogposts, it has been a crazy few months for me; all the work, pressure and drama. But less talk about the past and more talk about the present, this blogpost is more going to little things that I have found lately and just interesting things, hope you will enjoy.

So a little bit about what is gonna happen in the very new future, my finals are in a two days and I am treasuring my time when I am not revising. After that there would be a little celebration and maybe a little surprise :). Another thing is after that I would be in a workshop that I had to enroll but I hope it is going to be fun and useful. and then.... I WOULD BE GOING TO NEW YORK!! I can't want at all!!!

Okay, the next thing, DUHHHHHHHHHHH! Yup it is a mini haul, from LUSH

I know I would usually order things online from their UK website, but since I had a 10% off coupon and I am gonna leave from US soon so I really wanted to try some of the LUSH products. So I bought three soaps, two shampoo bars and one solid conditioner.

Soaps:
- Bohemian: If you love the scent of lemon but with a tint of sweetness to it, you would love this LUSH soap, it sends out a refreshing zesty scent that is perfect for a hot Summer's day

- Lust Soap: This is the rosiest scent I have ever seen in a soap!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE cos I just love anything rose. The only one bad thing is that it breaks easily but if you can live with it then it is perfect for a rose lover.

- Rock Star: Rock Star has a sweet but unexplainable kind of scent, if you wanna know how this smells like, GO TO A LUSH THAT IS NEAR YOU!! :)

Shampoo Bars:
- Jumping Juniper: This has a lavender scent and looks very lavender, have been using this for a few days and I have to say that I quite like it, don't know what it does to your hair though

- Karma Komba: This smells of lemon grass and that short of refreshing earthy grassy scent, haven't tried it out but was recommended for people who have oilier scalp and dry hair due to chemical damages, seems like a perfect shampoo for the Summer.

The next thing I found really interesting is this!!!

So I don't know if you have ever realized that when Japanese people write on plain blank white paper, they just somehow manage to always write straight across the page?? Well I can tell you that not ALL of them can do it off just by hand, but they have an interesting device.

As you can see on the left, it is a piece of harder paper that has lines on it and what you can do with it is you can put your plain sheet on it and use it as a guideline to write straight, and on the back, it has little squares for you to use if you need to draw charts or diagrams. It actually came with the pack of paper and I honestly think that this was really interesting :D

That is pretty much it for now, I would be posting a bit more later on this month os hopefully I would have the time.

btw, if you know me, I am actually clearing up my room and knowing me well enough then you would know that I have a lot of things that I buy but don't use so I would be having a very big giveaway, so look out for it if you are looking for accessories and other weird stuff!

LUSH Online Shopping

This is for all beautifuls who has a credit card and a huge love for LUSH products.

No one can resist loving freshly handmade cosmetics. If this statement is true then no one can resist LUSH cosmetics.

LUSH carries products all the way from body and hair cleansing, skin care to even organic hair dyes, and they have stores all around Hong Kong. Though we already have so much to choose from, there still are items that we just simply can't get our hands on, especially when they are all sold out!

It truly wasn't my intention to shop online for LUSH because I honestly didn't see the point in it, but since I really have waited long enough for my dry shampoo to get to Hong Kong, I recklessly went onto LUSH's UK online store and order my dry shampoo even if it means I have to pay for shipping. Yet to my surprise, everything was just so cheap compared to the pricing in Hong Kong that I couldn't stop myself from adding more into the shopping cart. After a long browse, I was astonished to see how much I have actually saved up even including all shipping payment. Therefore, I have decided to share this amazing deal along with a few tips and tricks while shopping online for LUSH.

To begin with, LUSH products comes in very good and safe packaging and it arrives on time so they are very trustworthy with their shipping. Also you only get to choose between 2 international shipping prices which solely depends on the weight of your purchase so it is very simple and user friendly.

With all LUSH products, they are given a price per a particular weight, so I did the maths for you and the above numbers are the amount you are paying per gram, all in HKD. Also I got a few that you can't get in Hong Kong so there isn't a comparing price.

In order to make the comparison easier, I have only calculated the total amount I needed to spend on items that you can purchase from both HK and UK while excluding shipping.

UK - $176
HK - $290

As you can see, you can save $114 just with the products alone and even with the shipping for this order, it is only $8 extra. This also means that if you buy more from now, you are saving up all the money you are paying for the rest of the items.

- TIPS AND TRICKS -
  1. There are only two shipping payments for you to choose from, 0-1kg or 1-2kg. Therefore the more you buy within the range, the more you are saving up.
  2. In order to get more, try to combine shopping orders with your friends so you can share the burden of the shipping payment.
  3. If you have friends who are in UK and you wish to order to them to save more, try to purchase only 3-4 days before they leave and buy the 'Receive in 2 days' with, I believe, around 5 pounds. This is because LUSH products are freshly made, you won't want them to sit at your friend's until they get back to deliver your purchase.
  4. To save as much as you can, I would recommend you to choose all products that you MUST buy and then check how much weight you have left to fill and then shop for more to use up all the 1/2kg you have.

I hope this information is beneficial to all of you and until next time,
stay cute!

Lego bag tag - an adorable accessory acting as a friendship tag as well

My iPhone case - Hello!

Pink leather strap for my USB - it has my name engraved inside it xD

New environment, new life

Ever since the 1st of September, I have started a new life as an university student. Life is much different comparatively to high school with all the new places and new faces, so much to cope with and so much to explore. Talking about exploration, I have been shopping much more lately at places I have never been and I have found interesting things to share with you guys. Since it is Christmas soon as well, these can also be great gift ideas for your gal or girl friends.

Sally Hansen has finally arrived to Hong Kong. Although it is only basics as well as hand and nail care, their products are amazing. The Insta-dri IS one of the products that I think I would swear by, a lot of top coats claim that they can dry quickly but nothing can actually dry nail polish as well as this one. Not only does the top coat itself dries but it even dries the polish underneath so you don't have to worry about scratching your newly painted nails after just a few minutes (this only applies to 2-3 nail polish coating, do expect it to take longer if you have 4 coats or more).

Sally Hansen in Sasa.
Insta-Dri, around $70 HKD

If you have friends who love soap and you love them, try getting this soap magnet! Not only does it keep your soap dry after use, it also prevents it from slipping around the shower/ tub. This device is separated into three parts, a bottle cap, a magnetic holder and a suction plug. All you have to do is to push the bottle cap into the soap of choice and by using the suction plug, plug your magnetic holder only any smooth surface and tada! Your soap is held up in the air, no more fuss with slipping soap and and soap stains.

The chills are creeping in and limbs are getting cold. Try to rock your style with adorable socks! Not only can they keep your feet warm, it can also add hints of color into your wintery clothing.

Top photo: Fluffy socks from Uniqlo, $129 for two pairs I believe
Bottom photo: 3 pairs from the left are from Muji, around $45 per pair, the one from the right is from a random boutique

If your friend likes things that are out of the ordinary, then this is the perfect gift! Paper clips in the shape of city icons. I am some sort of a collector and I have seen ones shaped like hearts, animals etc but never in the shape of the Statue of Liberty!! This would be something interesting to add into a goodie bag.

Muji $50

Lastly, treat yourself or loved ones to a luxurious bath, other than the Xmas bath bombs or the bubble bars from LUSH or any other famous bath brands, try something more adorable like macaroon bath fizz!

Macaroon bath fizz, Franc Franc $25

Well these are products I've found for now, until the next time, stay CUTE!

New Shopping Updates!

Sorry!!! I have been a bit TOO busy to blog lately, but since this is such a fun activity, I have decided to KEEP ON GOING!!!

First thing's first, I am not going to London anymore. For certain reasons, I have stayed in Hong Kong to peruse my designing dream. I wouldn't say that it is a bad thing because I have met amazing people, but then I have to say that the challenges I have been facing these days are quite difficult. Neither do I have to cope with the whole new uni life and the system they have here, I have to also cope with the new people and the new culture I am exposed to. I am not kidding, I truly am experiencing quite a big cultural shock, which shocks me more because I haven't left to anywhere exotic but the people and the way of living is just so so different from what I was use to before!

Then DUH!! My latest shopping items. I have to admit that I have already missed out quite a few items (don't really remember what exactly is new and what isn't), but I do still have a few exciting products to share.

Three brand new deborah lippmann nail polishes.

With these three nail polishes, you can say that it is a splurge on a higher end product. I have only tried out the Across The Universe so I have only swatches for that, as for the rest the swatches and review will be on in the other blog soon.

Sweet Link: http://bunnie-lover.blogspot.com/

Another new nail polish U&A.

This is a new polish I got at DNA, a mall in Tsim Sha Tsui. I believe that this brand specializes in glittery nail polishes. I was surprised that how well this nail polish was and I didn't regret paying $50 for a brand that I have never heard of. Reviews will be on the other blog soon as well!!

A few little things I bought for pure entertainment.

How can anyone resist getting hold of an Elmo Hello Kitty honestly??

Yes yes I know I haven't spend as much as expected but trust me, when I have the time, I WILL SPEND!! Plus a lot of little items I got aren't featured in this blog because they are presents for other people and I honestly don't want to spoil it for all the beautiful people <3

SEE YA!!!!

Nothing but a crazy month

Well.... ever since my last post, I went a bit mental.

When I say I went mental, I mean I went crazy with shopping. So I suppose this post would be a huge haul for you all.

This was one of my first purchase, a very beautiful bag. I was looking for a bag that is big enough to fit A4 stuff, strong enough to carry heavy items yet at the same time with something special enough to look good and weird at the same time. And one of my favorite shop was on a clearance and they have all the lovely bags, shoes and accessories. So this is what I picked up. Good for every outfit and love the buckle with the zipper.

The next one is a Jill Stuart blush. I was actually looking for the prism shadow, the ones with the cream shadow and the pigment on the top, but I really didn't like any of the colors. So instead, I went through the shop to look for something to buy with the money I have and TADA!! I got a blush! I reckon it would be the best purchase because you get the product and the pretty brush, yup that is right, the brush mattered the most ^^

Aren't the colors beautiful? I believe this is the number 12 pallet. I was recommended the limited edition one but I reckon it was just too pale and pink for me, actually for everyone. It was very fake and wrong. So I had to choose something more orange and red and I CHOSE THIS! The packaging is just so amazing right? I do think that one day I would end up just buying the full collection just because they look so damn pretty.

Something came from the mail for me a few days ago, they are nail stickers!! I got two different kinds actually, foil ones and just normal ordinary ones. The foil one is actually quite cool but the problem with it is that the sticker doesn't work as well on short nails than longer ones due to a better surface. All I have left is to let my nails grow longer. Sigh....

Then I went to MAC in hunt of something good, I went across some limited edition pack, this lip pack was just $320 I believe, worth the money I'd say. I really wanted the brush sets as well because they were so beautiful with the colors and the price, oooo don't get me going, only $520 for 5 eye brushes or 4 face brushes, HOW CAN ANYONE RESIST? I hope I get it as soon as possible!

Green tea MOCHI!!!! I quite like this one cos I got more MOCHI than ice cream. It is YUMMY! Oh yeah! This one is a random one. Not anything super special.

Got these from cotton on, I found them, got them and then I realized that they were for charity. YAY! I hope I helped someone ^^

A very pink pen, and limited edition as well. Loving the hearts on the side, I hope I can replace them ^^

Crocs, last thing anyone would have imagined me buying. But I mean look at them, aren't they cute? Cut them some slack, a girl wouldn't want to break their cute shoes in the rain or wear ugly shoes, would she?

Yup! Shades. Ray Ban. Cool but normal.

Well other than the nail stickers, I got something else through the mail. REAL TECHNIQUES MAKE UP BRUSHES!! They are pretty and they are amazing. Soft and beautiful. I am so going to do a full review on them later on!

I love my necklace, IT HAS MY NAME ON IT!

I found this cup and I instantly loved it! I actually had my eyes on this other one where it has fake coffee stain falling down from the outer surface of the cup and the man was trying to lick it. But then I chose this instead because this cup is filled with love!! DUH! It IS all about love people <3

Don't think that this is some kind of optical illusion guys, this IS how my cup/ mug look like, no joke! This one was cool and I really wanted to get the kettle like thing but that was too damn heavy so bye bye matching objects ;(

For people out there who knows me well, you see anything missing from this hand? Yup you are right, my Tiffany ring that I wear 24/7. I finally got to back to the shop and have it engraved!! So excited to see the outcome of it! I think I have a thing for personalizing everything I own. Is it some kind of obsession that I should be concerned about?

I have a thing for weirdness ever since I was born, and lately I have a thing for phone cases. You put them together and these are what you get. Love the first one cos, DUH, it is pink and it can always be handy when you are taking a sticker photo or you want to flirt with the guy across the room (but then you might end up with 4 men coming up to you thinking that you were signaling them instead of the other) and love the second one because COME ON! After being almost robbed by some freaky guy in Shang Hai, I know how to protect myself now, and that is to DISGUISE my phone!! Clever right?

[Btw just a side line to this, there is this super cute guy who works at this store where I got both these cases so if you like, comment below and I will tell you where the shop is ^^^]

The last purchase that I would like to mention is this frappacino. I gave the person a hard time because she didn't know what to write on the cup!! This is a caramel frappacino with Java Chip and coffee jelly, skimmed and extra cream on the top with caramel sauce instead of chocolate. Quite a long phrase I have to say.

Since we are on the topic of coffee, Starbucks is finally changing all their logo on anything they have. They even have a 50% off on tumblers with their old logo on. Honestly I love the old logo and the rest of the old tumblers, the new ones look really bad. I understand that they want to expand their business to other products but why can't Starbucks Coffee be Starbucks Coffee? I mean they can have the Starbucks logo for like their t-shirt or handbags but they could really have kept the Coffee on the coffee!

Well this is it for now, if you have any questions on where you might be able to get the items from above or would want to know what I think about some of these stuff, feel free to leave a comment below. You can also check out my other blog, http://bunnie-lover.blogspot.com/, for reviews on the things or places and all other stuff you can imagine of. Feel free to ask for a review on particular items too!

Until next time, stay healthy and love more.
