I know that I have been back from Shang Hai for quite a while now, but I have decided to still blog a bit about my trip this Summer.
The first day I got there, I went out to the mall and had lunch with my parents. The noodles were surprisingly good.

And then we went shopping around Shang Hai for a bit. Didn't really get a lot at the end though because everything they had in Shang Hai that they have in Hong Kong are way more expensive there than here :'(
We then had hot pot, they had unlimited beef which was crazy...
It was really funny how the beef came out different color after being cooked in different potsI also found really cute cotton pads in Watsons
The second day, my family and I went to Nan Jing for a day trip, visiting my mom's client's office as well as the Nan Jing Massacre Memorial. I have to say that this drink looks the best yet tastes totally different...

On the third day, I met up with Yvette and had an amazing day (other than the fact that my iPhone almost got stolen by this very normal looking man)
In Shang Hai Starbucks, they also have macaroons, so jealous! But then they are way smaller than the one I got in Korea :)

My very interesting breakfast that I had before Yvette and I went to watch Kung Fu Panda 2, I have to say that the movie was very very very funny :D At least it was humor that I understand and appreciate.
And of course after the movie, we went on a shopping spree-ish... Things were similar from Hong Kong and they weren't really that affordable. I ended up getting soap from Sephora, can't wait to try them out!

On the last day, I went shopping with my parents and have led them to shop at a mall that carries United Nude (one of the most important reason that I went back to Shang Hai again)
I got a really adorable pair of Mono Jane in a beautiful peachy pink!! I love them and hopefully I will be able to save up for a pair of heels!!!!!!!
And that concludes my trip to Shang Hai. If you ask me, I doubt that I would be going back anytime soon because I am still traumatized by the man who took my phone out of my bag and I will never bring an expensive phone out EVER when I am not in Hong Kong (though I don't really feel safe much in Hong Kong anymore as well D:)
I will miss the shops and United Nude, I might just go back for the shoes and better shopping areas in Pu Dong compared to Pu Xi.
